Softball

This month I started softball and majority of the girls were on my team last year... and one was on my basketball team. I am a catcher but there is a girl who was on my sisters team last year and,  she wants to be catcher... but the thing is I believe I want it more. We have 3-4 pitchers so we should be good on them... lol.
well i will tell you who takes over the throne... (catcher)

The Wizard of Oz

I am so excited I am in the play the wizard of oz. Tomorrow is our first show. It's nerve racking. I hope it turns out well my scene is that scene that will make your chair flip over because your laughing so hard... lol. I already knew half the people in it...( she said sarcastically) now I know almost the entire cast there where a few people I already knew my sis in in it to. Well that's all I can say without using three pages of typing space... lol   

The Heart

When you see this title you think I am going to give this big devo or life lesson, life story but... your wrong. I am talking about a sheep heart in Zoology class today we dissected a sheep's heart, it was so cool! There were a couple of kids that looked they were a bout to vomit all over the floor.... but they didn't thank goodness. Know I have something to say that's kinda life lesson-ish *BE CAREFUL DISSECTING A HEART* the objects you are using to do so are sharp.

Strep strikes again

I have not had a recent blog post because I have had strep throat. I really did not get of the couch for three days. On exception of useing the bathroom. Then I started feeling better then the computer went out so this blog post is coming from a laptop at church. I am feeling much better know so I will be able co-op in the morning. YAY!!! 

Basketball to softball all in 1 day

Today I had a basketball party. We went to dairy queen and had ice cream cake and cheese burgers. The cake had a picture of a basketball going in the hoop that was made of pure sugar! I had a piece of the sugar part and I went a little crazy for a minute, I started talking more and faster it was hilarious. We had to leave the basketball party strait to sign-ups for softball.While there I ran into a girl who was on my basketball team. So I guess she was signing up for softball to... go figure.  

The Crash

A few years ago my aunt was in a really bad car accident. You may have heard about her in the news paper. I remember the morning exactly I was in the middle of eating some cereal, as any other morning and then it happened. My mom came in on the phone crying just flat out panicking she told me to get ready as fast as I could. then as we were turning of our road momma wasn't thinking strait and she was going the way that headed right for the crash. Then I said good thing we are close to the hospital and she realized I need to turn around. My aunt is still having tough times and we are lucky to still have her.

Apples 2 Apples

We played apples to apples a second ago and we played three times my mom won twice and my sister won once. When I would be the judge most of the time it was my mom who won the green card. My dad kept nagging us that we were in an alliance so momma would win. Even though I never won what kind of alliance is that!? So I guess that's just how it worked out in his head. Oh well.! 

Gizzards

My dad cooked chicken gizzard's and if you want to know it is the thing that grinds up the corn in the chickens throat. I had two and then they started to taste funny. So I decided to go with roman noodles. They're great for a little snack or something  just not for a full meal. My dad said the only thing that can make gizzards better is to watch some old wrestling. lol :) !

The Light of Salvation

A few years ago me and a friend were in the yard playing ,and she was talking about how her family did not go to church. She had some simple questions that for me were easy to answer. Then she asked the BIG one... How do you get to heaven?  So that one took a little bit of explaining. In the end she was saved and I felt good that was the first person I had the guts to lead them to Jesus, and now it's not so bad. Because we had a lesson at AWANA that said somtimes it takes hours and somtimes it takes ten seconds or less.

Introducing me

My name is Shelby and have two sisters and loving parents. I am interested in Sports I play softball and basketball, even though I play both my favorite is softball. I am also into drama, right now I am in the play The Wizard of Oz. In the summer my favorite thing to do in spare time is Swim. I have great friends from across the street to across the world. What I mean by across the world is I have a pen pal in Africa.
